This exceptional creation is one of the more striking full size Modern Alsace French creations I have made to date.

Dressed in a new material to me, Ivory G-10 with G-10 inlay and three detail carvings each-side of the handle, a tribute to the original “birds-eye” rivets of those early knives from The Alsace Region of France. This particular handle is quite beautiful and very tough. Shaped in my Modernized version of the Alsace French Knives, it is exceedingly comfortable for using over extend periods of time and just as easy to grab for making quick meals at home. This is a full size knife that can do just about every task required of a knife in any home or professional kitchen.

With an Overall length of 13 & 5/8” it strikes a sweet balance of being a full-size knife that is easy to use, quick and precise for the professional kitchen and being excellent choice for your Main Knife in the home kitchen. The blade is created out of some of the best Swedish Stainless Steel available, RWL-34 at a Rockwell hardness of 59-60 for toughness and ease of sharpening with excellent edge-holding abilities.

The blade itself exhibits 8” of cutting edge. Blade thickness is .100” thick with a nice gentle distal taper and rounded and polished spine. This Modern Alsace French possesses excellent handle to blade-weight balance, where in the handle hold the blade has weight enough so as to not tire-out the user when prepping for extend periods of time, while balancing right at the front of the handle. In the pinch-grip, this beautiful creation has excellent dexterity and control. The satin finished RWL-34 blade exhibits a convex edge geometry creating a blade that will be both tough and keen-cutting.
